Williams started his musical career studying at Julliard School of Music in New York City. After graduating, he joined the United States Air Force and became the conductor of the Air Force Band. He would later move to Los Angeles to work as a session musician and a composer for television shows.
One of Williams’ first breaks was composing “The Cone of Silence” episode in the hit show Get Smart. This achievement paved the way for his acceptance into the TV industry, which allowed him to receive accolades like two Emmy Awards.
