Princess Eze, commonly known as Princess Ogechukwu Eze, is a Nigerian-American theater practitioner who has made her mark in the world of theater through her exceptional performances and contributions as a playwright, director, and producer.

Born and raised in Nigeria, Princess Eze discovered her passion for acting and theater at an early age. She then pursued her dreams by attending Obafemi Awolowo University where she earned a degree in Theater Arts and later moved to the United States to obtain her Master's degree in Performance Studies from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.

Princess Eze has become a force to reckon with in the American Theater Scene with her creative works. Her productions have showcased themes such as identity, blackness, womanhood, and empowerment, many of which are inspired by her personal experiences and African culture.

As a playwright, Princess Eze has written award-winning plays such as "The Gift", which explores the journey of a young girl from Africa to America, "Run Boy Run Girl" which takes a hard look at gender relations, racial bias and the fight for justice in modern America and "Polaroid Love" an intimate piece that explores the nuances and challenges of romantic relationships.

In addition to writing, Princess Eze has directed various stage plays, including "For Colored Girls," a production that explores the complexities and struggles of being a black woman in contemporary America. She also directed "The Wives' Revolt" which tells the story of women fighting against societal expectations and norms.

Princess Eze's work in theater has not gone unnoticed. She has won awards such as the prestigious Princess Grace Award and the Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation's Observership Program Award.
