2017 RussVegas Half Marathon ACH Angels Tickets

The 2017 RussVegas Half Marathon was not just about running and fitness, but it was also about giving back to the community. One of the major highlights of the event was the participation of ACH Angels, a non-profit organization that helps raise funds for Arkansas Children’s Hospital (ACH).

Sports always have the power to bring people together, and the RussVegas Half Marathon was no exception. More than 2,600 participants from around the country gathered for the race, all with a common goal - to accomplish their best, and support a good cause.

Founded in 1943, Arkansas Children’s Hospital is a pediatric hospital located in Little Rock, Arkansas, that provides comprehensive pediatric healthcare services to children aged 0-21. The ACH Angels Foundation was established in 2009 to help provide financial support for this hospital and its mission. Since then, it has raised millions of dollars, providing crucial funding for patient services, cutting-edge research programs, and education.

The RussVegas Half Marathon was a perfect platform for the ACH Angels foundation to reach out and connect with the public. The Foundation set up a booth near the starting line, informing runners, friends, and family members about the incredible work done by the Arkansas Children’s Hospital.

The Foundation had also organized a donation drive during the marathon, where people could donate at the booth or during the registration process. In addition to the online donations, participants were encouraged to contribute by donating spare change, cash, or checks while they were collecting their race packets.

One of the highlights of the event was the participation of dozens of ACH patient families, who walked through the finish line with the runners, accompanied by cheers and applause. These moments highlighted the true spirit of this marathon, reminding everyone that every step counts towards making a positive impact.
