Bruce McCulloch is a Canadian comedian, actor, writer, and director known for his work with the sketch comedy group, The Kids in the Hall. He has also been involved in numerous television shows and movies throughout his career.

Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada in 1961, Bruce began his career in the late 1980s as one of the founding members of The Kids in the Hall. The sketch comedy group quickly gained a following in Canada and went on to become popular in the United States as well, thanks in part to their HBO special titled, "The Kids in the Hall: On Tour."

The group's unique style of humor, which blended absurdism, satire, and irreverence, struck a chord with audiences and established them as one of the most influential comedy acts of the 1990s. They continued to tour and make TV specials throughout the decade, culminating in their feature film debut, "Brain Candy," in 1996.

Throughout his time with The Kids in the Hall, Bruce became known for his offbeat characters, including Cabbage Head, Gavin, and Darryl. He also wrote and directed some of the group's most memorable sketches, such as the "crushing your head" bit.
