Prichard acknowledges that his time studying acting, directing, and stagecraft provided him with fundamental skills that he's still using today.

In an interview with WrestleZone, Prichard once remarked about how his theater background helped him with his wrestling promos. "I actually looked at professional wrestling as performance art," he said. "It's theater, it's live theater. And when I translate promos from putting them on paper to actually performing them, that's where my theater background comes into play."

Indeed, watching Prichard cut a promo or take part in an outrageous skit, it's clear he has a knack for entertaining a crowd. He has a wry sense of humor and a charismatic presence that makes him stand out among other wrestling personalities. And while some of his characterizations might be over-the-top, they always have a theatrical flair that elevates them to another level.

Aside from wrestling, Prichard has also acted in movies such as The Backyard Dogs (2000) and Brother's Keeper (1998), as well as guest-starred on TV shows like Walker, Texas Ranger and Hardcastle and McCormick. There's no doubt that his training in theater helped prepare him for these roles, just as it prepared him for the high-octane world of wrestling.

Prichard's dedication to both wrestling and theater has also benefited the community. In September 2019, Prichard organized a fundraising event called "Wrestling with Masculinity," which featured wrestling legends sharing personal stories about mental health and masculinity. The event was held in a Houston theater and raised money for local mental health organizations.

Prichard’s success as both a wrestling persona and a producer is a testament to his talents in entertainment. And while he may be best known for his work in the ring, his theater background has helped him hone his craft and become a well-rounded performer. Whether he's cutting a promo or taking on a dramatic role, Prichard brings a unique perspective that only someone with theatrical experience could bring to the table.
