Campbell Camels Tickets

The Campbell Camels are a women's basketball team that represents Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina. The team competes in the Big South Conference and has seen success over the years.

Women's basketball at Campbell has been a part of the university since 1975. The program began with very little support or resources, but has grown and developed into a competitive team in the Big South Conference. Under current Head Coach Ronny Fisher, the women's basketball program has continued to make strides and elevate its level of play.

In the 2019-2020 season, the Campbell Camels finished with a record of 17-11 overall and 10-6 in conference play, earning them a fourth place finish in the Big South. However, their season was cut short due to COVID-19 and they were unable to compete in the conference tournament.

One standout player for the Camels is guard Taya Bolden. In the 2019-2020 season, she was named to the All-Big South First Team and led the team in points per game with 12.6. Bolden's leadership and abilities on the court have made her a key player for the Camels.

Off the court, the Campbell women's basketball team has been successful as well. In the 2019-2020 academic year, the team earned a cumulative GPA of 3.62, the highest of any women's team at Campbell. This dedication to excellence both on and off the court showcases the commitment of the players and coaching staff to their sport and education.

The future of the Campbell women's basketball team looks bright, as they have continued to recruit talented players and improve each season. While their success may not receive the same recognition as larger programs, the Camels are a force to be reckoned within the competitive landscape of college women's basketball.
