The Cleveland Patriots were founded in 1946 as part of the All-America Football Conference (AAFC), which was an alternative professional football league to the NFL. The team won four AAFC championships before joining the NFL in 1950. One of the most memorable moments in the Cleveland Patriots' history is what is known as "The Drive." In the 1986 AFC Championship game, the team was facing off against the Denver Broncos.
