Founded in 1963, the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers play their home games at the HTC Center, located in Conway, South Carolina. The team competes in the Sun Belt Conference and has made multiple appearances in both the NCAA Tournament and the NIT.
Under head coach Cliff Ellis, who joined the team in 2007, the Chanticleers have experienced a resurgence in recent years.
