He ends the bit by talking about OJ Simpson, and how he's not the only athlete to have lost his way, but instead of discussing other athletes (such as Michael Vick), he brings up Magic Johnson's HIV status, stating “Magic pulled through like a champ!” Misdirection, subversion, then uplift – what an incredible journey!
