Dr. David Jeremiah may be primarily known as a Christian author, speaker, and pastor, but he has also dabbled in the world of theater. Though not a professional actor by any means, he has done some notable work on stage over the years.

One of Dr. Jeremiah’s most significant ventures in the realm of theater came in the early 2000s when he wrote and produced a play called “The Scarlet Thread.” The play, which was inspired by his book of the same name, tells the story of two families—one Jewish, one Gentile—whose lives are intertwined through several generations. The play explores themes like forgiveness, redemption, and God’s sovereignty, and it was staged in theaters across the United States.

In an interview with CBN News at the time, Dr. Jeremiah explained that he had always loved theater and had been involved in drama throughout his childhood and teen years. He saw “The Scarlet Thread” as a way to bring his message of faith and hope to a wider audience.
