Throughout its history, Florida A&M has produced several professional baseball players including Andre Dawson, Vince Coleman, and Hal McRae, who all played in the Major Leagues. The team's legacy is built on the basis of teamwork, discipline, and dedication to excellence both on and off the field.

As with any college baseball team, the season starts with rigorous training camps and practices before the official start of the season. During the regular season, the team plays over 50 games against other teams within the SWAC conference and other non-conference members of the NCAA.

The Rattlers play their home games at the Moore-Kittles Field, which has a seating capacity of 2,500 spectators. The stadium has seen many memorable moments throughout the years, including the Rattlers' historic three-game sweep of Bethune-Cookman in 2016.

Florida A&M's baseball program is known for its commitment to academic success as well. The team consistently boasts one of the highest graduation rates among Division I institutions, and many of its graduates have gone on to achieve success both in baseball and in their careers after college.

The Rattlers have had their share of ups and downs throughout their baseball history, but they continue to strive for excellence both on and off the field. Their commitment to teamwork, perseverance, and dedication to both academics and athletics are traits that set them apart from other NCAA baseball programs.

In conclusion, the Florida A&M Rattlers baseball team is a storied program that has produced some of the most talented baseball players in the nation. Their commitment to excellence in both academics and athletics is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the players, coaches, and staff.
