In the past eight seasons, Florida Gulf Coast has secured five ASUN Conference titles and made six NCAA tournament appearances. They have also consistently ranked among the top teams in the nation, peaking as high as number 13 in the polls.

Notably, in 2017, Kelsey Huff became the first FGCU player to earn All-America honors in softball. Later, pitcher Riley Randolph was named the America East Pitcher of the Year in 2021.
