Fundraiser for North Brunswick Humane Association & Second Chance for Animals Tickets

On Saturday, April 24th, residents of North Brunswick and the surrounding area will have an opportunity to support two exceptional organizations by attending a comedy fundraiser. The North Brunswick Humane Association (NBHA) and Second Chance for Animals (SCFA) are hosting an evening of laughter, featuring comedians from around the region. All proceeds from the event will go directly towards the continued care and welfare of local rescue animals.

The NBHA is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the health and protection of cats and dogs in North Brunswick and Middlesex County. Founded in 2001 by a group of animal lovers who recognized the need for a more responsible approach to pet ownership, the association has since grown into a major force in animal welfare. Through their adoption events, foster program, and community outreach efforts, they strive to improve the lives of all local animals, regardless of age, breed, or background.

SCFA shares many of the same goals as the NBHA, but with a particular focus on dogs. Founded in 1989, the organization provides temporary housing, medical care, and rehabilitation services to abandoned, abused, and neglected canines throughout Central New Jersey. SCFA also works tirelessly to promote spay/neuter programs, humane education, and legislation that supports animal welfare. Their ultimate goal is to ensure that every dog in their care finds a loving, permanent home.

Comedy fundraisers are an innovative way to raise money for important causes while also providing attendees with an entertaining experience. Comedians participating in the event include some of the funniest and most sought-after performers in the region, showcasing their talents in a family-friendly environment. The fundraiser will take place at The Knights of Columbus Hall in North Brunswick, starting at 7 PM. Tickets are $35 per person, which includes the comedy show, light refreshments, and one free drink ticket. Raffle baskets will also be available for purchase, with all proceeds benefiting the NBHA and SCFA.
