Georgetown (KY) Tigers Basketball Tickets

The Georgetown Tigers basketball team is one of the most exciting and competitive teams in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). Georgetown, located in Georgetown, Kentucky, has a rich history in college basketball as they have won two NAIA championships in 1998 and 2013. The Tigers have also advanced to the NAIA Division I tournament 29 times and reached the Elite Eight 11 times.

The Georgetown basketball program has been led by Head Coach Chris Briggs for the past ten years, and he has done an excellent job in building a winning tradition at Georgetown. Under his leadership, the Tigers have been ranked in the Top 25 of the NAIA Coaches’ Poll every year since 2009, and they have won five consecutive Mid-South Conference titles from 2014-2018. In fact, the Tigers have not lost a conference game since 2013 and have recorded an impressive 76-game regular-season conference winning streak.

One of the reasons that Georgetown has been so successful is their ability to recruit highly talented players from all over the country. Many of these players come to Georgetown with a passion for the game and a desire to compete at the highest level. Georgetown has produced numerous All-Conference players, and many of their players have gone on to play professionally both in the United States and overseas.

Georgetown’s success has not gone unnoticed by the college basketball world. The Tigers regularly schedule games against major Division I opponents like Indiana University, Vanderbilt University, and the University of Kentucky. In fact, in 2020, Georgetown played in Rupp Arena in front of a sold-out crowd of over 22,000 fans against the University of Kentucky. Georgetown was competitive in the game, losing 62-48, but it was a great experience for the players to play in such a historic venue.

Georgetown’s success in college basketball has not only been on the court, but off the court as well. The basketball program has helped to bring notoriety to the University and has brought in revenue for the school through ticket sales and donations. Many of the players on the Georgetown team are also involved in community service projects, which helps to promote a positive image for the school.
