The Hamilton Continentals basketball team is a Division III college basketball team representing Hamilton College in Clinton, New York. As with many schools in the Division III category, this means that athletic scholarships are not offered and players participate in basketball solely for the love of the sport.

Despite this, the Continentals have developed a reputation over the years as a competitive, successful program within the NESCAC conference. In the 2019-2020 season, Hamilton finished 19-7 overall and 6-4 in conference play. This included an impressive run to the conference tournament semifinals, where they fell short to top-ranked Tufts University.

While it may seem like Division III basketball doesn't get much attention compared to Division I programs, the reality is that there is still a dedicated fanbase and intense competition. However, he eventually earned a spot on the Golden State Warriors roster and has gone on to have a successful career in the league.

Hamilton may not have any players currently eyeing the NBA, but their dedication to basketball and pursuit of excellence can still be admired.
