Justin Lockwood has been entertaining audiences with his unique brand of comedy for over a decade. Whether he's performing stand-up on stage or hosting a radio show, Lockwood always leaves audiences laughing.

Born in Middlesbrough, England, Lockwood began his career in comedy as a writer and performer for local radio stations. He quickly made a name for himself and was soon hosting his own comedy shows on BBC Radio Tees and BBC Tees.

Lockwood's quick wit and sharp observational humor quickly won fans across the UK, and he soon began performing stand-up comedy in clubs and festivals around the country. In 2015, Lockwood took his comedy to Edinburgh Fringe Festival where his show "The Return of the Seven Deadly Sins" received critical acclaim. The show was inspired by his many years residing in a religious community before his college years. During this period, he discovered his incredible talent for mocking the unspoken rules that govern much of society and its inherent hypocrisies about how they worshiped God.

Lockwood has also written and performed in one-man plays like "Lockwood: What Am I?" which was performed at Newcastle's Customs House Theater. In the play, Lockwood explores his identity crisis fueled by the impact of social media and other such digital forces in our lives.

Currently, Lockwood hosts the morning show on BBC Newcastle with Laurel and Hardy. It's not impossible, to catch the taste of his stand-up on Sunday evenings from 11 pm-midnight with his radio program, called "The Late Show."

Lockwood's humor is sometimes biting, yet he never hesitates when cracking jokes at his own expense. This willingness to be self-deprecating makes him all the more endearing to his audiences who can relate to the familiar frustrations at life. Despite his sometimes edgy humor, Lockwood undoubtedly remains a well-loved comedian for many.
