Lambert Orkis is a renowned pianist and collaboration partner to many famous classical musicians. Orkis’ musical education started at an early age. He began studying piano when he was five years old. He studied at the Conservatoire National de Paris (CNP) where he earned both bachelor's and Master's degrees in piano.

After completing his studies, Orkis joined the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra as a full-time member. During this time, he also taught at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.
