Lawrence Loh is a renowned American conductor with a passion for classical music. His distinguished career spans over two decades, during which he has conducted prestigious orchestras worldwide, including the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, Houston Symphony, and the Dallas Symphony Orchestra.

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Lawrence Loh migrated to the United States in his teens to pursue his passion for music. He attended Yale University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music, followed by a Master's degree at the University of Southern California. Throughout his studies, Loh honed his craft as a conductor, gaining invaluable experience under the tutelage of world-renowned conductors such as Leonard Bernstein, Esa-Pekka Salonen, and Michael Tilson Thomas.

In 1999, Lawrence Loh was appointed the Assistant Conductor of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. This marked the beginning of a remarkable career for the young conductor, who quickly rose through the ranks to become the DSO's Associate Conductor in 2001. During this time, Loh collaborated with some of the world's most celebrated musicians, including violinists Itzhak Perlman and Joshua Bell.

Loh's talent soon caught the attention of other leading orchestras around the world. In 2004, he was appointed Resident Conductor of both the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and Carnegie Mellon School of Music. Here, he worked closely with legendary conductor Mariss Jansons, refining his technique and broadening his repertoire.

Lawrence Loh's passion for classical music extends beyond conducting. He is also an accomplished composer, having written several original works, including "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow," "The Scarlet Letter," and "Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Missing Music." Today, Lawrence Loh is regarded as one of the foremost conductors in classical music. He has conducted some of the world's greatest orchestras, including the San Francisco Symphony, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Loh is also a sought-after guest conductor at major music festivals worldwide, including the Aspen Music Festival and the Grand Teton Music Festival.
