Lindenwood Lions Football is a college football program that has been making waves in the NCAA Division II league for several years. Founded in 1910, the university located in Saint Charles, Missouri, has a long history of athletic excellence and has produced several notable NFL players like Pierre Desir and Greg Zuerlein.

The Lindenwood Lions Football team plays in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA), consisting of 14 teams such as Northwest Missouri State, Emporia State, and Central Missouri. They were the runners-up in both the MIAA conference and the regional championships in 2019.

Over the years, several great coaches have led the team to considerable success. One such coach was Patrick Ross, who served as the Head Coach of the program from 2007 to 2016. During his tenure, he led the Lindenwood Lions Football team to their first-ever NAIA national championship in 2009.

Currently, the team is led by Head Coach Justin Lustig, who took over the reins in 2020. Lustig comes with significant experience coaching at the collegiate level, having previously worked at notable programs like Syracuse and Ball State.
