In 2016, the Milwaukee Torrent was founded as a semi-professional soccer team, playing in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) Midwest Region. This year, the Milwaukee Torrent teamed up with Bundesliga powerhouse Bayer Leverkusen to bring an unforgettable soccer experience to young players in Milwaukee. The partnership culminated in the Andreas Davi Soccer Camp Milwaukee 2017, named after former Leverkusen player Andreas Davi.

The camp allowed participants aged seven to 18 to develop their skills under the guidance of highly trained coaches. Alongside professional drills and exercise routines, participants had the opportunity to interact with members of the Milwaukee Torrent and Bayer Leverkusen teams.
