The event was attended by over 750 mountain bikers from around the globe, making it the largest gathering of its kind. Participants were exposed to the latest trends in the sport, from equipment advancements to trail building techniques.
One of the highlights of the event was the Whistler Valley Trail Ride, a scenic route that took riders from Lost Lake Park to Function Junction. This group ride was an opportunity for participants to ride alongside some of the sport's top athletes, including downhill champion Steve Smith.
Another popular aspect of MTBMeetup was the demo village, which provided attendees with the chance to test ride the latest bikes and equipment. Companies such as Trek, Giant, Santa Cruz, and Specialized showcased their newest offerings.
Aside from the riding and demos, MTBMeetup also featured workshops and seminars that covered topics ranging from bike maintenance to racing strategy. Attendees had the opportunity to learn from industry experts and professionals, such as trail builders, coaches, and racers.
