NC State Wolfpack Softball Tickets

NC State Wolfpack Softball, also known as NC State Softball, is the women’s softball team of North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina. The team competes in the Atlantic Coast Conference and plays its home games at Dail Softball Stadium.

Softball has been a part of NC State athletics since 1975, but it wasn’t until 1989 that the program was officially recognized by the university. Since then, NC State Softball has grown into a competitive force, regularly ranking among the top teams in the ACC and the nation.

One of the most successful seasons for NC State Softball came in 2017 when the team compiled a record of 35-18 and made it to the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2012. The team was led by pitcher Megan Dray, who was named ACC Pitcher of the Year, and shortstop Molly Hutchison, who earned All-ACC honors.

In recent years, the program has continued to build on its successes, thanks in large part to Head Coach Jennifer Patrick-Swift. Patrick-Swift took over the program in 2016 and has since led the Wolfpack to four consecutive winning seasons.

Under Patrick-Swift’s leadership, the team has become known for its aggressive play style and strong defensive skills. With a focus on player development and teamwork, NC State Softball continues to make strides towards becoming one of the top programs in the ACC and the nation.

But NC State Softball isn’t just about wins and losses. The program is also dedicated to giving back to the community through various outreach efforts. The team regularly volunteers at local schools and hospitals, and participates in events such as the annual Buddy Walk for Down Syndrome Awareness.

NC State Softball is not only a source of pride for the university and its fans, but also a testament to the power of sports to inspire and impact lives both on and off the field.
