This year's tournament took place from July 12th to the 16th, and featured over 300 games across 19 fields.

But who makes such a massive event possible? Volunteers. Over 600 volunteers worked hard over the course of the week-long tournament. These volunteers came from all walks of life- high school students, retirees, parents, soccer fans- but they all shared a passion for the sport and a desire to see the tournament succeed.

Their duties ranged from field set-up and tear-down, scorekeeping, and team check-in, to parking lot management, medical assistance, and even as vendors. They worked long hours under hot sun and pouring rain to ensure that everything ran smoothly and according to schedule.

But why do volunteers choose to give up their time and energy in this way? For many, it's about giving back to the community and being an active participant in the sport they love. Others may do it for personal or professional development, gaining new skills and experiences along the way.

Whatever the reason, there is no doubt that volunteers make a significant impact on the success of sports events. They are the backbone of every tournament, competition, and game played around the world. Without them, these events simply would not happen.
