Richter/Uzer is a term that is used to refer to two of the most influential composers of classical music: Franz Xaver Richter and Karl Friedrich Uzer. Both composers were active during the Baroque period, and their music has had a profound impact on the development of classical music as a whole.

Franz Xaver Richter was born in Moravia in 1709 and began his career as a violinist before turning to composition. He is best known for his sacred music, which features rich harmonies and complex counterpoint. His works often employ multiple choruses and instrumental groups, creating a layered and intricate sound.

Karl Friedrich Uzer, on the other hand, was born in Germany in 1751 and was also primarily known as a composer of church music. His works are more conservative than Richter's, but they are still characterized by elegant melodies and skilled use of harmony.
