Participants in the Seri Mengasih Heroes Run 2017 were divided into several categories such as the Open Men/Women categories, Veteran Men/Women categories, and the Students category. The route covered a distance of five kilometres; starting from the Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) and concluding back at JPMC.
The highlight of the event was undoubtedly the presence of the local heroes from Seri Mengasih Centre who joined in the live performance on stage before the race began. Seri Mengasih Centre is a non-profit organisation that offers education and job placement opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Some of their clients even took part in the run, making it a meaningful and poignant moment.
