Steven White began his musical career when he studied French horn at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. Soon after, he became the company’s Resident Conductor from 1996 to 2006. In addition to his tenure at Houston Grand Opera, Steven White has conducted more than nine productions at other prominent companies such as the Dallas Opera, Los Angeles Opera, and Opera Theatre of St. Louis.
