This year’s festival was held at Tinside Lido, 50-meter open-air saltwater pool situated within walking distance of the city center. It offered competitors a chance to swim against a breathtaking background before embarking on the run leg along Plymouth's waterfront and through the famous Hoe Park.

The festival consisted of two main events - the Standard Distance race, which covered a total of 1500 meters of swimming followed by a 10 km run, and the Sprint Distance race, featuring 750 meters of swimming and a 5 km run. Both distances demanded courage, determination, and perseverance from every athlete on the starting line.

The winners of the Standard Distance race were Scott Moloney and Rebecca Tongue, with impressive finishing times of one hour, fifty-eight minutes, and nineteen seconds and two hours, fourteen minutes, and thirty-five seconds, respectively. In the Sprint Distance race, Nicholas Richards won the men's category, while Kirsty Park secured victory in the women's.
