The show tells the story of Melvin Ferd, a nerdy janitor who transforms into the titular hero after being thrown into a vat of toxic waste. Along with his love interest Sarah, he battles corrupt politicians and evil businessmen to save the town of Tromaville from destruction.
One of the biggest draws of The Toxic Avenger Musical is its willingness to poke fun at itself and the conventions of musical theater.
