TJ Jagodowski and Dave Pasquesi first met in Chicago in 1992 when they both joined Second City Theatre. While both men had very different backgrounds (Dave came from a sketch comedy background while TJ was trained in improvisation), they quickly became friends and collaborators.

In 2002, they began performing together in a two-man long-form improv show at the ImprovOlympic Theatre in Chicago. The show was an immediate success and ran every Wednesday night for over a decade.
