The Tulsa Oilers, based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, have had a long-standing presence in Minor League Hockey. Previously, the team was affiliated with the NHL's Winnipeg Jets, the Dallas Stars, and the Colorado Avalanche. The Avalanche affiliation lasted from 2014-2018, during which time the Oilers made the playoffs in every season and won the Western Conference in 2016.
