Ultra White Collar Boxing (UWCB) has become one of the most popular sports events in Aberdeen, Scotland. The event brings together amateur boxers from different backgrounds and professions to compete in a series of matches that aim to raise funds for charity.

The concept of UWCB was introduced in 2009 by founder Ricky Bolger, with the aim of offering people the opportunity to experience the thrill of boxing in a safe and controlled environment. Since then, the organization has grown exponentially across the UK, and today hundreds of thousands of amateur boxers have taken part in UWCB events.

On March 18th, 2017, Aberdeen hosted one of the most exciting UWCB events to date. Over 20 competitors took to the ring at the Beach Ballroom, cheered on by an enthusiastic crowd of friends and family.

All fighters underwent an eight-week training program under the guidance of experienced trainers and coaches, during which they learned the fundamentals of boxing and improved their fitness levels. The end result was a series of exhilarating, high-octane bouts that showcased the commitment, dedication and sheer determination of these novice fighters.

While the competition was fierce, the spirit of camaraderie was evident throughout the event. Fighters shared tips and advice with one another, congratulated each other on their performances and engaged in friendly banter that made the atmosphere even more electric.

But beyond the excitement of the matches themselves, UWCB events like this continue to impress every year because of the focus they place on raising funds for worthy causes. All proceeds from the Aberdeen event went to Cancer Research UK, in support of vital cancer research.
