Ultra White Collar Boxing Bristol 25.03.2017 Tickets

On the 25th of March 2017, Bristol played host to the latest edition of Ultra White Collar Boxing – an event that’s been taking the UK by storm over the last few years. Ultra White Collar Boxing is a unique concept that raises money for Cancer Research UK while giving everyday people the chance to get in the ring and experience life as a boxer.

The Bristol event was hosted at the O2 Academy, and saw over a thousand punters packed into the venue to watch ten bouts between amateur boxers. The participants had all undergone an eight-week training programme, and were split into two teams for the night.

The boxers themselves were predominantly normal people who’d never boxed before, but had decided to take on the challenge for a good cause. That being said, there were also some impressive standouts such as Gareth Hillier, who put in a fantastic performance in his fight.

While sports fans might not typically associate boxing with charity events, Ultra White Collar Boxing has done an excellent job of bringing the two together. Not only does the event raise funds for cancer research, but it also allows amateurs to experience what it feels like to step into the ring and compete in a sport that’s notoriously difficult.

Overall, the Bristol edition of Ultra White Collar Boxing was a resounding success. The crowd was energetic, the atmosphere was electric, and most importantly, the charity benefited from the event.
