University of the Cumberlands Patriots Basketball Tickets

The University of the Cumberlands Patriots basketball team is a small-school program that plays in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). Despite not being a well-known program, they have consistently been competitive and successful in recent years.

The Patriots have made four straight trips to the NAIA national tournament, including a trip to the championship game in 2019. They have also won three straight Mid-South Conference regular season titles and two conference tournament titles.

While the Patriots may not receive much attention on a national level, they are a prime example of how college basketball extends beyond just the high-profile Division I programs. There are hundreds of smaller schools throughout the country that have passionate fan bases and talented players.

In many cases, these small schools provide opportunities for players who may not have had much exposure or recognition throughout their high school careers. This is not to say that Division I basketball is not exciting or important – it certainly is. But it’s worth recognizing and appreciating the diversity and depth of the entire college basketball landscape.
