Washington & Jefferson Presidents Basketball Tickets

Washington & Jefferson College, located in Washington, Pennsylvania, is a small liberal arts college that has a rich history in college basketball. In fact, it was one of the founding members of the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC), which now includes 10 colleges and universities.

The W&J Presidents’ basketball team has been around since 1906, and over the years, they have produced some notable players and coaches. Head coach Glenn Shriner guided the team to two conference championships in 1982 and 1983 and received the Coach of the Year award in both seasons. He also mentored several All-Conference players, including Joe Shields, who set a school record for most points in a single game with a whopping 53 points.

Despite this, the W&J Presidents’ basketball team has managed to build a loyal fan base of supporters who come out to pack their home court, the Henry Memorial Center, on game days. The energy inside the arena during these games is electric, and the student section, known as the "Red Army," leads the charge in cheering on their team.

While the W&J Presidents' basketball program may not be a household name in the world of college basketball, it still offers an exciting brand of basketball that is worth watching. The team's dedication, passion, and commitment to excellence are evident both on and off the court, making this small liberal arts college stand out in the world of college basketball.
