Xavier (LA) is a small liberal arts college located in Louisiana, with an enrollment of just over 2,500 students. Despite its size, the school has a rich history of competing in collegiate athletics, particularly in basketball.

Known as the Gold Rush, Xavier's men's basketball team has been a consistent force in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) for decades.
